This gorgeous chess set depicts the battle of the Incas and the Spanish in the year 1528. The meticulous detail on the chessmen is all done by hand. The ruffs around the neck of the queen on the Spanish side are delicately carved to make it look like material, it is beautifully detailed. The rest of the Spanish side is also hand carved and painted. The Incas side is also, hand painted and carved from Italian alabaster with amazing detail.  The chessmen are solid alabaster with felted bottoms. This is a exquisite set of chessmen that will look stunning on your chess board or table. This is a set to leave on display on your coffee table, game room or study just as you would an expensive piece of crystal. This will be the center of attention in any room you place it in.  Hand carved and painted in Italy.

  • Note: As a general rule the base diameter of your chessmen should be 1/4" smaller than the size of the squares on your chess board. (Chess board NOT included.)
