Brass/silver plated metal chessmen. The board is is made of the most superior woods from Italy. Inlaid maple, walnut, mahogany & briarwood with a gorgeous mosaic trim around the board. Solid brass piano hinges and a storage compartment for chess and checkers pieces complete with lock and key. The artwork on the sides of the board are individually inlaid with various woods. This is a beautiful board to leave on display.
