Lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys and more are represented in set from Italy. The chess pieces feature a variety of exotic creatures, from the regal lion "king" to whimsical zebra "knights," all made of Oxo-Teak (crushed alabaster) and hand-painted by Italian artisans. The chess board is crafted of Inlaid maple/erable from Spain with a high glossy surface.
